Somewhere In-Between Fleeing from their disparate regions and the Courts of their respective Flights, Sornieth’s travelling Circus has set up shop deep in the Shifting Expanse of the Stormcatcher. Here, they entertain industrious workers from the Lightning Farm and gather supplies from the peculiar residents of the Swampland surrounding Churnscar Wharf.
However, the delicate balance these brigand outcasts have begun to establish may soon be shattered. During a particularly peculiar lightning storm – seeming to emerge from the very rocks of Carrion Canyon itself – something... Other has emerged. Known only as the Borderlands, this mysterious ghost town has started blinking in and out of existence without warning; preceded only by eerily silent electrical storms. Flitting throughout the Shifting Expanse and its border regions, the residents of the Circus and Swamplands may have found themselves no longer the strangest inhabitants of this uncanny valley.
